Selection foundation

A panel is an engineered assembly, not just a drive in a box.

The enclosure must suit the environment while the disconnect, fusing, contactors, cooling and control circuit suit the drive and load. A bypass panel also needs a clear operating sequence and correctly coordinated motor protection. Project information such as fault level, cable entry, control voltage, BMS interface and local operator requirements should be settled before the bill of materials is released.
