Scope and contracting party

These terms govern access to VFDDistributor.com and requests made through www.vfddistributor.com. “VFDDistributor.com,” “we,” “us” and “our” refer to the website operator.

The legal seller for a transaction is the entity identified on the applicable quotation, pro forma invoice, commercial invoice or order confirmation. If a transaction document conflicts with these general terms, the signed or accepted transaction document controls for that transaction.

Quotations and order acceptance

A quotation is valid only for the period stated on it and is subject to final confirmation of model, quantity, availability, price, currency, destination, freight and export requirements. An order becomes binding only when the identified seller issues written acceptance or an order confirmation and any required payment has cleared.

Requested changes after acceptance may affect price, lead time or feasibility. We may reject or cancel a request before shipment if supply becomes unavailable, information is materially incorrect, payment fails, export restrictions apply or fulfilment would violate law. Any refund in that situation is limited to amounts actually received for the unfulfilled portion, less non-refundable third-party charges where legally permitted and previously disclosed.

Prices, payment, taxes and fraud prevention

Prices exclude taxes, duties, customs charges, bank fees, installation and other costs unless the quotation says otherwise. The buyer is responsible for charges allocated to the buyer under the quoted Incoterm or delivery term. Payment timing, method, currency and bank details are stated in the transaction documents.

Delivery, title and risk

Lead times are estimates unless expressly guaranteed in writing. Delays can result from factory schedules, allocation, inspection, export documentation, carriers, customs, force majeure or incomplete buyer information. Delivery terms, transfer of risk and responsibility for import clearance follow the Incoterm or other delivery term stated in the quotation.

The buyer must inspect packaging and goods promptly. Visible transport damage or shortage should be recorded with the carrier and reported through our Contact page within the period stated in the transaction documents. Preserve packaging, labels, photos and delivery records.

Cancellation, returns and exchanges

Do not return goods without written return authorisation. Eligibility depends on the transaction documents, product condition and supplier or manufacturer rules. Special-order, configured, programmed, opened, installed, obsolete, clearance or custom-built products may be non-cancellable and non-returnable.

Where a return is accepted, the buyer must follow the stated packaging and shipping instructions. Inspection, restocking, testing, freight, duty or refurbishment charges may apply if disclosed and legally permitted. Shipping damage, installation damage, parameter errors, contamination or use outside published ratings can make a return ineligible.

Warranty and technical support

Any product warranty is limited to the warranty stated in the quotation or supplied by the identified seller or manufacturer. Warranty coverage may depend on serial numbers, destination, installation, storage, commissioning and operating conditions. We do not extend a manufacturer warranty unless expressly stated in writing.

Safety circuits, protective devices, short-circuit ratings, harmonic compliance, motor insulation, grounding and machine safety remain the responsibility of qualified project personnel.

Export control and lawful use

The buyer must provide accurate end-user, end-use and destination information and comply with sanctions, export-control, customs, anti-bribery and other applicable laws. Products may not be supplied, transferred or used where prohibited. We may suspend a transaction while checks are completed.

Accounts and acceptable website use

If you create an account, keep credentials secure and provide accurate information. Do not attempt unauthorised access, interfere with the website, introduce malicious code, scrape the website in a manner that burdens the service, impersonate another party or use content unlawfully. We may restrict access to protect users, systems or legal rights.

Intellectual property and content use
